    Down 10 Pounds

    Tis the season to gain 10 pounds, but I managed to avoid the holiday weight gain and actually lost 10 pounds.

    I enjoyed the holidays and still indulged in some holiday cheer and some chocolates here and there, but this holiday season was different.

    We had a house full of delicious food – from brownies to cheese balls to stuffing and eggnog. However, I didn’t feel the need to eat it all. In fact, most of it is still in the fridge or pantry. ┬áThere are still full boxes of chocolates around the tree.

    I indulged, but I didn’t OVER indulge. There is a big difference.

    I used my new bike a couple of times, but haven’t been excessive active, as I’m still nursing a chest infection and haven’t wanted to push my luck.

    The biggest difference for me this holiday was definitely controlling my calorie intake and it clearly worked. 10 pounds down, 55 to go.
